JARNTUWARNTIKURA COLLECTION
Jarntuwarntikura means belonging to family. This collection is inspired by prints representing our ngamajiwarnti (mothers), jajawarnti (maternal grandmother), jukuwarnti (maternal great mothers), country, the Canning Stock Route, and the colours of the Great Sandy Desert.
Marninjarra is proud to share its second collection, Jarntuwarntikura, belonging to family. It is a celebration of family and connection. Through each piece, we invite you to experience a story of place, culture, kinship and country.

ABOUT WARNINJARRA
Marninjarra, meaning two women.
A clothing and design label created by Joycelyn and Amber McCarthy, Walmajarri women from Fitzroy Valley in the Kimberley. Their work is deeply inspired by the land that they grew up on, the wildlife they are surrounded by, and the strength and stories passed down by their mother and grandmother. Each design is a reflection of Country, with colours, patterns, and a deep sense of belonging.
Joycelyn carries that spirit forward through her art and design, weaving stories of Country into fabric.
Her work with Marninjarra reflects a strong sense of identity, storytelling, and respect for where she comes from. Every design is more than a pattern, itβs a piece of home, a way of remembering, and an offering to those who wear it.
